Let me just ad that it's an active power cable, designed to actively combat noise incoming from mains :)

SupaNova has a LED that indicates whether polarity is in check or reversed.

Just wanted to chime in and vouch for the GND Defender and DC Blocker. My Line Magnetic LM805iA has had a bit of hum since I got it (from speakers and a very minimal amount of physical hum from the amp), but something happened recently where I started to have an unworkable amount of hum coming from the speakers when using the preamp input (basically using it as a power amp) and the lowest negative feedback setting. I tried everything and just could not get it under control.

On a whim, I ordered both the GND Defender and DC Blocker to give them a go. Problem solved! I tried the DC blocker and it maybe made an ever so slight difference in the hum from the speakers. I knew this product was more for physical hum anyway, but I have had DC problems at an old house in the past so figured it was worth trying out. GND Defender was the ticket though. Did not take it to deadsilent, but cut 90% of the hum, now I can really only hear it if I put my ear up against the speaker. Thanks @iFi audio for the amazing products! I am going for both GND Defender and DC blocker inline just to make sure I have both helping me out with any potential issues, because why not?

Great to hear positives. My yiggy has some pretty obnoxious transformer hum (dead silent through headphones however) so I ordered the DC Blocker to give it a try. That or take it apart to make sure the transformer didn't get loose in shipping and is exacerbating with more vibrations. I'll report back if it helps.

Anyone else have a Yiggy with a loud transformer?

Update: Unfortunately no improvement for me. Yiggy just must be a loud humming girl.

If a DC Blocker didn't help, this means that this transformer hum isn't related to a DC offset and there has to be a different reason why you can hear it.

Will any of these things help “clicks” and “pops” that can occur when other devices are powered on in a circuit shared with audio equipment? My buddy is having issues with a washing machine that causes audible click/pop through his speakers and I’m not sure where/what that could originate from. Front-end is Schiit Magnius balanced into a Luxman L507uxII amp.

I’m interested in these power cables but the price hikes are pretty outrageous! Bring them back to launch price and I'll take 3.

Seems more likely to be a power sag issue than a DC offset/grounding issue, especially if it happens when the washer initializes/powers on. Have them try putting their rig on a different circuit than the washer if it isn’t already.
