Is it ok to color the circuit board in the HD58x with a black marker?

Am modding it with foam over the magnets and colored the spider white plastic thingy so it can more closely match the HD6xx

But there is a green circuit board, can that be colored also? it has some gold pins on it

I was told I needed to put the black foam over the magnets otherwise dust will go into the driver and cause issues dunno if this is true or not.

 

You can do anything you want to your own stuff.. There are special coating for circuit boards so I would stick to something designed for electronic use.

 

ok thanks I will leave the board alone since the green color isn't an issue honestly. Don't wanna mess with it anymore already cut out the foam and covered the driver, now my 58x looks like a 6xx even tho not quite but close enough for the price I paid.
