Add me please. NJ.
I would like to be added also. Santa Clarita CA
Would love to be part of this program if I qualify. SF, CA
@Vansen - looks like I'll be moving to WA in a month. Would like to still hear these, but maybe this will change my place in line?
Straight at the end before me.
@Vansen - Have they shipped off to @shotgunshane yet?
@mscott58 not yet. I’ll ship them by the 15th. Just got back in town last night and want some time with them.
Were you able to get these out? (No pressure, just wondering for scheduling reasons.)
So does @shotgunshane still have them or are they on to @Warrior?
They are scheduled to arrive to me on Tuesday.
...I’ve been traveling a little too much to these days. They sat at my house without me there for a bit. It’s winding down at the end of September though. It’s been a crazy year.
No worries. Personally can't wait for the kids to go back to school next week so we can get back into our normal routine!
Just found out about these. Would love to compare them to the Vega! I'm in MD.
Nooo, how could I miss this?!
In SoCAL, if not too late.
@shotgunshane any initial impressions on these. Specifically interested in the Atlas.
Oh, what are we insuring both of these for btw? Just confirming again, no USPS on these, like Marvy stated in most recent update in loaner guidelines thread?
$500 for the set at my behest. You can USPS at $500.
CA monitors in house today.
Interested in your impressions
Loaners are on their way to @Warrior.
I didn’t find either one of them very good: Comet treble was pretty metallic in timbre and overall a bit hazy. Definitely a step back from Orion. Atlas has noticeably improved treble smoothness over Vega but felt it a step back in all other aspects. From memory, Vega sub bass rumble and texture was better, especially in comparison to upper bass but it’s been ages since I last heard Vega, so grain of salt.
