    Just installed this: http://www.marian.de/en/products/seraph_d4

First impressions are good and seem favorable to Yggdrasil Gen 3 usb. Sounds a bit cleaner and perhaps more depth, usb is bit muddier and grainier seems like. But needs more testing obviously. And the main thing: NO f'ing dropouts!

Installation was a breeze, plug and play no messing with settings. Though there are certainly enough if you are so inclined.

Thinking i don't really need a Mutec MC-3+ for this setup, though i suppose i could try it. Nothing wrong with the onboard clock though.

Sweet, I think I'm going to try it out. Do you mind me asking about your setup? What software are you using?

Also are you using the AES out? How long is the breakout cable?

    Hehe, my setup is:

    Win10>Jriver>Seraph d4>aes>Yggdrasil>Phoenix>modded HD650
For usb i use a Belkin cable with a lps spliced between dac and cable.

Edit: The breakout cable is about 30cm long. Standard tascam format multi cable.
