I was looking out for more listening impressions but then I decided that no listening impressions are better than your own. Just ordered them yesterday and we will will see how they are. I am intrigued by their relatively high impedence and lack of extreme sensitivity.

No.P000052 reporting! I haven't had much time to do critical listening over the past 2 weeks I've had them but I'm roughly approaching the 30 hour mark. I'm planning on running some tests and frequency sweeps later this week and some more in-depth comparison to my other IEMs and HD600. The build quality, packaging and accessories are superb, which I suspect you'll notice first off. I want to give them some more ear time and hear more tracks before giving any detailed analysis, but I really like what I hear overall so far. Neutral and detailed done right. IMO these must be heard and I say that as a general statement, so I look forward to your impressions too!

Important question: How is the bass? I read that some people find it lacking in sub-bass extension and impact/punch.

Would like to know your opinion about this, as the P1 has been garnering lot of positive impressions. Thanks!

There's certainly no lack in bass extension. I am able to hear down to 30Hz in low frequency sweeps, perhaps a bit lower. I think impressions on the bass presentation will vary depending on personal tastes with the level of presence/quantity desired. It's definitely of the more neutral variety but not lacking in impact, it's rather dynamic and engaging when a song calls for it. It's tight and controlled throughout the bass range. What IEMs have you heard for reference? I'll see if I can make a rough comparison.

Corrected, I'm in fact #52 as you can see here: http://imgur.com/a/VcoJ4 I guess we ordered back to back!

Serial Number 252 here, I find lower treble/upper mids to have a dip in them, noticeably where hi-hats would be. So far I really like them though, detailed and smooth, warm leaning balanced.

#94. Arrived yesterday and I'm listening today at work. Left channel occasionally cutting out. I'll have to try the other cable and cables from my recently deceased SE215 when I get home to see if it's a cable issue or if it's the connector.

    Edit:
No issues at all with the Pinnacle headset cable or cables from my SE215. I prefer the Shure cable with the memory wire, so I'm good to go.

The stock medium bi-flanges were a little too splashy for me. The stock medium coply tips were better, but something was strange in the bass for me. Today I am using the S-400 tip with wax guard - they seem to have helped a little bit for my preferences.

I don't often use comply but they work really well with the P1.

I'm switching back and forth between the stock comply and the sport comply tips. The stock tips are a little more forward while the sport tips seems to balance everything out a little further. I can see enjoying both depending on mood. Generally speaking - I prefer the laid-back presentation more.

These look pretty good. The only drawback for me is the high impedance. IEMs are always on the go for me, so I don't like powering them with anything except a smartphone/IPod. It seems like these need some extra juice from an amp to reach their full potential.

You can get some small amp/dac for your iphone.

For me biggest problem is build quality, cable connectors already little bad after two weeks of usage.

Lower serial numbers had a small chance for the connectors to have issues, that's what my contact with MeeAudio said. He said he's going to swap mine out even though I have no issues. If you contact them you're going to get the newer updated version for sure. Just let them know.

Found the P1 could be driven quite well from my oneplus, better from the Sony walkman. Difficult to fault generally. Lack of bass extension made me give them up sadly, but can imagine most ppl being happy.

I have these on loan at the moment.

My mobile rig is simply a Fiio X1 and Etymotic HF5. Desktop is HD650/HD800 with Mjolnir and Bifrost Uber. My notes are as follows:

In summary, if you can power the P1 and are looking for a casual listening in environments where outside sources of noise are high, the P1 will do well. Isolates well, provides enough bass to overcome the perceived loss due to lack of bass isolation you'll find in every IEM. Ety HF5 isn't much better other than cleaning up the bass for those who will listen in not as noisy environments. As far as advanced impressions of "how it sounds" I don't really think that should be a major concern at this price point. Higher up the headphone totem pole does many things so much better, it's really an unfair comparison. I will say this though, HF5 seems to show more detail with a much cleaner sound signature at a lower price.

I have them on loaner as well. They are not bad, not my preferred signature and I don't have the desire to listen to them unfortunately. They are clear and seem neutral to me, at least what I consider neutral. Isolation is good, and the overall package is very nice as well.
