They're made from a very soft calf skin leather and thickly padded with memory foam, making them both very comfortable and nice to look at and touch. For those who are on the fence, I have the classic gimbal/rodblock/headband set on my SR325x and it makes a world of difference for comfort and ease of adjustment. Installation is a snap if you’re used to doing minor mechanical projects. The Nyczaj pads didn’t work for me, but that was mostly down to comfort and your ears may vary.
