I have not been doing much audio tweaking lately, just listening...mostly in bed :)

My new toy I picked up 1.5 weeks ago after a bit of a search:

It is a Sasquatched Big Bend model, with a 2.3L and a manual. I wanted a Bad Lands for the sway bar disconnect, but they are almost always $up optioned$ to prices I did not want to pay, plus for 2024 they were all V6's with required auto transmission unless you special ordered. I have added:

    • Ford Performance's tune, which brings the 2.3L up to 385 foot pounds and 330 horses, as well as some other tweaks
    • "Walker Link" sway bar shocks, which adds some more front end articulation that hopefully will assuage my desire for a full on electronic sway bar disconnect. I had not wrenched in a while so getting these on took 9 man hours this weekend...directions said one or two, but that must be with on a lift with and an impact :p

The Sasquatch package gets you the 35's, front and rear lockers, Bilstein's with remote reservoir, and a small amount of suspension lift (in addition to what you get with the tires).

Hopefully today I will be adding some after market 'high clearance' crash bars (useful in a small overlap crash) as Ford removes the OEM ones with the Sasquatch package. This is cheap bonus points with the wife ;)

After looking at aftermarket options I ordered the Ford OEM skids that come standard on the Badlands. Most aftermarket options were too heavy, too pricey, usually both. The only thing missing on the OEM kit is a decent transmission skid, so I have one on order. I will get all that on this week with any luck.

I still need to order some real frame mounted rock rails as the ones on there are body mounted and good for the steps, but of limited use offroad. Have yet to decide which ones to get.

I also have an "Auto Stop Eliminator" I need to get installed to stop this damnable "feature"

This vehicle is so capable off road compared to what I have experienced in the past. My skill level is defiantly the limiting factor so far ;)

I have to thank you thank you thank you for this bit of information - a revelation that they actually make such devices! I absolutely hate this feature and infuriates my wife to no end as well on both our vehicles. I am on this like white on rice. Thank you for sharing this!

I got this installed yesterday, works as advertised. Besides contorting down into the dash, the install was straightforward as well - took about an hour. I only have one extra plastic tab left, and no rattles ;)
