Here's one I randomly wrote last night when a friend texted to ask "What's the word?"
I decided to write from the perspective of my childhood in the suburbs:

"Yo, I grew up with a green lawn
Ridin bikes, ring a doorbell
then I get gone
Climbin trees, tossin frisbees
10-year old's empire,
lookin fine, this hood is mine,
settin fire with my lyrics
On my block,
I got a toy glock
No training wheels,
With my spork
Eatin public school meals
Think I'm crazy?
Make you my lunch lady
Servin rice with an ice cream scoop
In your hair net
While I get set
Join the jet set
5th grade math
Givin me the skills
To multiply my bills
Yeah, I got an allowance
License to ill
That's the word
QED, son."

 

Someone was really into Hufflepuff from Harry Potter, so I wrote this:

Have no fears
Hufflepuff is here
Keepin' it real,
We focus on detail
Step by step
I'll increase our rep
Our future? I'll plan it
The stars
and planets,
I'll bring with a wave of my wand,
Whatever you are fond
I'll revolve around
You crowned like the sun
All problems solved,
Prosperity found
A pipe dream?
No hyped theme,
Just give me a hint
No route too rough
I'll draw up a blueprint
And make like a 'puff...
