I lost the wall wart for my Monolith Cavalli Liquid Platinum headphone amp, can anyone recommend a replacement? Monoprice doesn't seem to sell them. I am open to--in fact I prefer--an upgraded linear power supply. The specs are: DC 36V 1.5A.

    Thanks.

    A few things
    • We generally discourage new threads for one-off questions like this. Probably better to put it in the Liquid Platinum thread (people will see it) or the all-purpose advice thread.
    • Here is a photo of the original power supply, but I’m guessing this is one of many that would work
    • The amp designer generally recommends against a linear power supply for the LP, see this post

Do not get a LPS for the LP. It will f**k it up. It’s not just a recommendation it’s a flat out no.

I don’t know about replacing the original but I would suggest getting the same one.

Have you tried contacting Monoprice directly to see if they have replacements they can issue?

Looks like there are some on eBay that match the photo linked above. Fuyuang Switching Power Supply 36V 1.5A P/N FY3601500

Thanks. The photo of the adapter was a huge help!
