Includes: stock microsuede pads, stock pleather pads, Shure 1540 alcantra pads, original soft packaging and stock cable. I can include a second fatter cable that came stock with Nighthawk Carbon. I do not recommend the original thin stock cable as it was rigged by AQ to sound bad to demonstrate the differences in cables… Audioquest is a cable company that took a stab at designing their own headphone which became the Nighthawk / Nightowl now discontinued.

Yes, I have two Nighthawks and selling my extra set. Prefer the looks of Carbon. Carbon cups are made of same wood resin but are painted over in a dark grey paint. The OG version I think has a clear coat over the wood resin.

My Carbon set is modded and I can walk you through the mods if want to copy. This OG Nighthawk set has light mods but reverted to stock sound using aftermaket materials for purposes of sale. If you’d like I can mod for you before shipping but a key ingredient would be missing: hybrid pads.

The bad: vegan headband strap is flaking which is normal. The Carbon version I think is real leather so does not flake. Its just a pad that attaches to the headband for comfort, there are lots of aftermarket options if you care to replace.

The other bad: Nighthawks are notorious for smelling funky. I cleaned both my Nighthawk cups with commerical anti-mold chemical, bathed in vinegar for 48hours, washed with water and Borax then let air dry to allow wood to absorb the Borax. No more smell. But no guarantees, sorry.
