HD800 is sold (to Mr. Doody)
One cable is sold to JoshMorr

Crack, T1, and other cable still available.

HD800 SDR for sale. fairly recent serial number. Low hours. Excellent condition. SDR mod installed. I have some custom made cables too. One balanced, one single ended. I was thinking $825 with the two extra cables. $775 for friends.

I have the stock cable and original box. Certificate from Sennheiser attached.

HD800 cables are still available. $50 each ($30 for friends). I can re-terminate as needed. Both 8 strand mogami cable. The red and black one has each conductor individually sleeved in 95# paracord, and is built like a tank (8'7"). Other one is 8'3".

I also have a Crack with speedball, Alps blue velvet pot, and some good tubes - Mullard 12AU7 (Blackburn, Great Britain, code Gf1 84DX), Catham 6080 ($500, $450 friends).

    My cost:
    Unassembled Crack: $299
    Speedball: $115
    Alps Blue velvet pot: $11
Catham (Tung-sol) 6080 power tube: $30, if you can find them
    Mullard 12AU7 (Blackburn, Great Britain, code Gf1 84DX): $70

Build it yourself and just get the good tubes: $525
This assumes you can get the Catham 6080, which I cannot seem to find anywhere.

So basically you are getting pretty good build, as well as some style, for free!

beyerdynamic T1 gen 1. re-terminated balanced with balanced to 1/4" adapter cable. old serial number. comes with stock pads and EDT770 pads, which I think sound better. Also has the Aluminum case ($400, $350 friends)

I'll pay USA shipping. You gift or add paypal fees.

    More info on the cable:

The first is a custom cable for an HD800/HD800s. Made from Mogami quad cable, each conductor individually sleeved in 95# paracord, then hand braided. The cable is light, extremely flexible, and very very durable. This is an 8 strand cable, 4 conductors going to each channel. 8' 7" long

    For $20 more I can throw in a 6" 4-Pin XLR to 1/4" single-ended adapter cable

Got some better pics of the crack:

Note the solid aluminum black volume knob. This knob gives much more weight tot he sound the stock plastic knob!

Note the shielded wire upgrade between the RCA jacks and volume pot (on the right). Also, the volume pot has been upgraded to a Alps Blue Velvet. This actually does make a difference with balance and volume control at lower listening levels.

The Catham (Tung-sol) 6080 is a fantastic power tube. Lots of lushness to the sound.

RCA 6AS7G vacuum tube - top getter - black plate. Purchased from LeedsRadio. A good, solid, cool looking tube.

Cheap tube I got from eBay after I dropped the stock tube. Don't drop tubes.

    Stock input tube. Not bad.

The Mullard 12AU7 (Blackburn, Great Britain, code Gf1 84DX). This is a fantastic input tube.

Bump. I added pre-outs to the crack. Sounds pretty nice. The wiring simply comes off the headphone tap, so something needs to be plugged into the headphone jack for the pre-out to work. I will include a simple 1/4" to 1/8" adapter to serve this purpose.
