    For sale:
Eddie Current Aficionado with Jupiter Capacitors and Tubes

$2150 net to me for Friends and Known Contributors, $2250 otherwise and who I sell to will be at my discretion.
Located in SoCal (OC) and would prefer a local hand-off somewhere in SD, OC, or LA county at a location of my choosing, but I can ship in the original boxes. Will ship within the lower 48 for $100. That most likely won't be enough, but I'll eat the difference. Shipping anywhere else, including international, will be negotiable via PM.

Selling as I have gone deep enough down the tube rolling rabbit hole to (finally) get the sonic traits of the AF I liked on my Stellaris and haven't used my AF very much as a complimentary amp since then. This amp previously belonged to @BillOhio and several members have heard this particular amp at a meet before and can attest that it works without issue. However, in the sake of full disclosure, I will say that it "creaks and groans" a little in the first 10 minutes of tube warm up. Noise goes away after this. Also, on the end of the umbilical cable (power cord) between the power supply and amp, there is a little collar on one end of the cable. There are 2 very small screws that hold the collar together, one screw is missing. This doesn't impact function, the cable is not falling apart, it stays in, etc. - I just never took the time to check the size / pitch and replace the screw.

edit: minor details I forgot to explicitely mention: no feedback mod and the power indicator light (on light) on the front of the power supply has the old (germanium?) bulb - it isn't going to be the bright LED light but it does work.

Also, the right 2A3 socket (if you stand in front of the amp facing the volume knob) is slightly loose. It will still make full contact and does not adversely impact performance or sound. By loose, if a 2A3 is inserted, it will come up easily in the first 1-2mm of travel. For the remaining 10mm or so of travel (however long the pins are), the socket will still grab the pins with normal tension and the tube will need to be pulled out with the normal amount of force.

Not in a huge rush to sell but I will also list this on HF later.

    Comes with the following tubes:
Matched pair of strong Sylvania Black Plate 2A3 (purchased from @m17xr2b )
2x WE396a (at least 1, if not both, purchased from Brent Jessee)
1x Mullard 5AR4 rectifier with 7 notch copper lined plates (came with the amp, from what I understand this is a more robust version of the Mullard 5AR4)
    Stock Russian input tube
    Stock Russian capacitors

Also available at a discount if purchased with the amp:
1x Fat Base Mullard 5AR4 (black plastic) with Tubemonger socket saver - the fat base is too big to fit into the socket without this. - $100
    Ericsson 2C51 (these have a warmer sound) - $40
2x Raytheon CK5670 (less warm sound vs WE and Ericsson) - $40

Headphone sold, no longer available. Focal Clear OG - $650 - Purchased new in 2018 from TSAV. Selling b/c it has very good synergy with this amp and between a new Utopia and finally finding Auteur pads I really like, I also don't use the Clear as much anymore. This headphone has never had a failure, driver excursion issue, etc.

Pics will come soon but there are no visible dents, dings, or damage that I'm aware of.
PM for additional pics. Pics show the Fat Base Mullard in the amp, not the 7 notch copper lined Mullard.

The creaks and groans are inherent to the amp in my experience and aren't any negative thing. Just tubes coming to life. Great amp and Penguins is a great dude as well!
