Sold: HE-6, modded, six screw

Up for sale is a pair of modded six screw HE-6. I'm not sure how many owners this HE-6 has seen, but think of it as the high school cheerleader that slept with the entire football team.

Price is 800 USD shipped via UPS with PP fees included in the price.

From the previous owner:
- Hard-wire mod, four pin XLR, about five feet. He seems to have struggled to remove the stock connectors so there are some marks around the connector openings, which are only visible if you choose to remove the grills.
- Blu-tack mod to improve bass quality
- Removal of the fiberglass squares
- Attached a pair of black Audeze Vegan pads via double sided sticky tape. I have decreased the "stickiness" of the double sided tape so you can remove the Audeze Vegan pads without damaging them. These improve comfort and reduce a lot of the treble unevenness you get with the stock pads.
- Applied the felt ring mod inside the Vegan pads to eliminate some of the residual treble unevenness/brightness.

Overall aesthetic quality is good besides the mentioned marks from the hardwire mod. These headphones also come with the stock pleather and velour pads as well as the stock connectors and fiberglass material. They come in a HiFiman hinged box.

Yeah... He wanted stock. These would be a PITA to return to stock condition, but still doable with the right skills.
