Ive been re evaluating my headphone rig for a while now and I just don't listen nearly enough to warrant the gear I have. Decided to downsize, and it turns out I actually like the modded HD650s more than the 800s for the majority of my music, and my recently acquired Vali 2/Modi 2U stack is adorable.

SOLD - Schiit MultiBit Gungnir
This was purchased as a B Stock unit and upgraded in the first batch of Gungnir Multibit upgrades. Nothing is physically wrong with the unit as I can see. It also has the 2nd Generation USB input.

SOLD - Sennheiser HD800
Well taken care of. Spent most of their life covered on a headphone stand. The stock cable is modded to have a neutrik 4 pin xlr connector and there is a roughly 8 inch long xlr to 1/4" adaptor from the stock cable as well.

Yeah several weeks ago I looked down at my headphone rig and realized other than a few movies, I hadn't /really/ listened to it for any length of time in almost 2 months. I just don't need that much money tied up in something I use that little. Combine that with me getting out of the air force to go back to school in 2 months, and the money sounds pretty nice to a soon to be poor college student.

I dunno, everyone's priorities morph over time, and hobbies all wax and wane, and it's not like the Modi 2U and Vali 2 don't provide just as much musical enjoyment, they just don't have quite the level of technicalities of the Gungnir Multibit/BW combo.

Some day in the future when I have more disposable income again I will definitely upgrade back to something similar.

I'm mainly buying to audition it as well, since we never got a chance to get a loaner unit going around. velvetx is first in line to get the BW after me. I'd like to actually sell it to someone on the east coast cause I'm not if there's anyone with a BW around here. But if no one wants it in my area, then you guys will be next.
