One question regarding the installation.

Do you use the 3.5mm adapter to push the resonator to the base of the hole? What kind of material is the bottom part of the driver made of? Just being cautious because I don't want to poke a hole and ruin my headphones..

Sign me up for a spare pair! Been using my first pair for at least a month now, love the changes in sound, added bass EQ as well!

 

@sorrodje I'm quite interested in getting a resonator or two for my HD800. That damn 6khz peak is starting to become more and more of an annoyance for a few albums of mine!

Really appreciate your work in developing this and making it available for the whole audio community!

 

Got your package @sorrodje , installed the resonators and the difference is like night and day! The 6khz spike has calmed the f**k down now. Very happy with the results!

My resonators arrived in good shape. Easy enough to install. Mostly use my HD800s with tube amps, so I haven't found them as strident as some. But after the installation I tried some tracks that had too much treble. They were actually listenable. Perceived bass seems a bit better (placebo?) and resolution seems just as good.
