A couple, both age 78, went to a sex therapist's office. The doctor asked, "What can I do for you?"

The man replies, "Will you observe us having sex?"

The doctor looked puzzled, but agreed.

When the couple finished, the doctor said, "There's nothing wrong with the way you have sex," and charged them $150.

This happened several weeks in a row. The couple would make an appointment; the doctor would observe them having sex with no problems; they paid the doctor then left.

Finally, the doctor tired of this and asked them, "What exactly are you trying to find out here?"

"We're not trying to find out anything," the husband replied. "She's married and we can't go to her house. I'm married and we can't go to my house. The Holiday Inn charges $190. The Hilton charges $208. We do it here for $150...and I get $63 back from Medicare."

1988. My then girlfriend had two children. The young boy went through a phase of pointing at people in shops and saying, "Look mummy, that person is black!" Actually, the people didn't seem to mind, but my GF was so embarrassed. She would stutter, "Actually, his sister is black."

Don't know how people handle that, thirty years later.
