So your results were from my 1st one, which was an '89...
The '92 was so much more a Race Car.....

Anyway....

Don't know what they were thinking....
There was a '95 Black M5 just like this by my house here in Florida, and the guy would rev it all the time in neutral....
It sounded so glorious... the dual overhead cams of the M Power... Me like dis.. real lots......
It was a droofest for me....

I did not have the where with all to buy one....
I could not afford an M Power Car being married with Children...
Oh no! Baby needs new shoes.... You know.....

 

I really liked those M5s.

Jay Leno trivia: I was watching some car show on TV. They were doing an episode on Jay Leno's car collection. Near the end of the show Leno is asked "Out of all of your cars, which one is the most fun to drive?" He thought for a couple of seconds and said "The BMW 2002 Tii." and talked a bit about it. I liked hearing that from someone with a collection like his. I used to get a lot of grief from people along the lines of "You could have gotten a ... Why did you get that!?".

I think the ultimate buy of the 4 Door Sports Car is......
BMW V10 Manual Trans......
They produced it for a year or two... I don't really remember..
Crappy Gas Mileage just like my Rousch Mustang...
Who the hell cares...
I just am done with 4 Doors when it comes to fast cars...
I have a Cadillac Fleetwood, and a Chevy HHR that fills the 4 Door void....
But the V10 BMW with a Manual is a treat, that can't be beat....

I'm creaming right now thinking about hooning, and noboby knows that I'm driving a supercar....

Love those guillotines. Have to be well built or they are useless. For mere stationery slicing, I like the ones with a cutting wheel, but they are even more prone to being useless. None of the "domestic" ones I've ever seen ever, even with ordinary paper, actually "cut it."

Saw Cynthia today....
They moved her to a new room a day ago...
The nurse said this one is a little bigger, and Cynthina likes it...
So I get there today.....
And it's the Presidential Suite... at the Hospital in the ICU...
It's got all the comforts of a 4 Star Hotel...
Holy Moly..... Do tell.....
Anyway they are still killing this nasty infection for 12 days now, that they didn't kill 10 weeks previously when she was hospitalized before....
And then I had to give here CPR as well...
But nothing like this time...
The infection has gotten into Septic Shock status.....
And sometimes there is no coming back....
We are lucky that time and place has garnished her the breadth of another chance at life...
And I can rest at night knowing that a love that took many years to find is still close by...
Feels good...

We just bought her a fancy bed today that does the rising and lowering of top and bottom with remote control, and soft foamy cuddly happiness....

I have just today recieved the final components for the Musicians Audio System that will put me back into making music again....
It is some good entry level stuff....
I have one more buy in the Acoustic Guitar side of it....
Taylor brand....
Not sure which model to buy, but Taylor is on the list of my collection of Acoustic Guitars...
It is a passion of mine..... to play and sing.....
Not a professional, but I can hold my own, and have played with groups for years....

Time to listine to some Koss ESP-950 Headphones with some Tube Amp goodness and the Dolby Headphone Settings on my Asus Xonar D1 Sound Card with Burr Brown Dac Filters....

Sound quite the "State of the Art".....
And can go to "Ear Splitting Levels"....
Not bad for $549.00 + $80.00 for the Vesper Pads.....

You guys get high-value courier delivers without signing?

That strikes me as a bit... dangerous. But the whole waiting in all day thing is tedious.

Sitting here in front of a very modest Dell, but expensive-to-me (and higher price in India) 24" Ultrasharp. Supposed to be the most accurate short of adding zeros for the stuff that real graphics people by. Actually factory calibrated, which probably doesn't really matter to me, but feels good! It replaced my developed-a-green-stripe 22" Samsung a few months ago. Loving it. Easy on the eye for browsing/text; makes photos look great.

But I can't help remembering that my last CRT monitor lasted into double figures of years. Even with a case damaged in the shipping UK to India.

Bought all-Dell stuff for desktops at work. In fact I weened them off IBM PCs at hugely higher prices! But, in those days, quality was mostly good and customer service/support was better. One boss told me that, with one bad problem, by shouting loud enough, he actually to speak to Mr Dell himself!

 

@Big D Design you can usually re-route packages from FedEx or UPS to their respective storefronts or shipping centers. Even the big distribution centers have areas open to the public for drop off/pick up. You still have to sign, but you get notified when it's ready and go get it at your own convenience.

The problem with rerouting to a center is that there is not one in town. The next town over is a nightmare filled with a crime element. I live in the Bible town where us God people mingle and have manners beyond normal.
I'd rather stay away from the bad elements.....
I grew up where you had to be very careful....
You would get sometimes..... "What da Fu#%k you lookin' at?" when walking by someone.....
Very scary area was the town I grew up in, on the Other Side of the Train Tracks.
I lived 2 blocks from the total other direction of the Train Tracks, thank God......

My first monitor was a 21" Panasonic. That was my favorite CRT. It eventually crapped out on me 5 years later...
Then I got a 22" Lacie Electron Blue CRT. That was not as good as the Panasonic at all......
Panasonic got out of the CRT Pro business, just like the TV IPS lately, and the Plasma a couple a years ago...
I love the Panasonic brand.... Don't know why they keep jumping out of products that are clearly superior than many of the others....
I have their Soundbar system underneath their 48" IPS LED TV in my Bedroom with Wireless Subwoofer......
Both products are State of the Art... Are they produced anymore.... no.... why?..... because they are Panasonic....
And Panasonic chooses to stop making the best shit.... don't know why.... but that is there protocol....

I love Panasonic and I will buy their products always. Just wish they would be more consistent, like they used to be......

Tired now...
Had to stay up half the night.... waiting for my freakin' coupons to show up.... I got money off if I signed up.... and I used multiple IP Adresses to fool and get multiple coupons and ordered a few items...
Ha Ha....
They think they're smart.... fooled again....
