    Selling my Theta Gen Va, not really because I want to, but I travel and used this DAC to showcase the ZMF's, and traveling with a vintage piece of gear just makes me nervous, and I'd rather just have a USB DAC that I can plug right in to, so I'm going to invest in a Yggdrasil.

    Marv had this for a while and then Hands. It's been cared for greatly!

    I did have to replace the 3 way toggle switch and I couldn't find an exact match, but it works great. All functions work.

    It's an important piece of history and it brings back good memories from my DAC quest.

    For those not in the know, the Theta has the Schiit Mega-Combo-Burrito Filter. It was the original Yggdrasil. It has bassier warmer sound than Yggdrasil, but quite not as resolving, but still resolving than most modern DACs include some good DS ones. The Yggdrasil is the culmination of Mike Moffat's work at Theta. Moffat left Theta shortly after this DAC came out. Can you guys imagine that? Yggdrasil is 20-25 years late.

    Anyone without the dough for Yggdrasil, but enough for this should get it. That's the best investment one can do. It trades punches with Yggdrasil, and has arguably better impact.

    Yeah it's a pretty amazing piece of gear. I've really enjoyed it. I just can't rationalize having this and a Yggdrasil at the same time, especially since the ZMF's are a little thicker it makes sense to have the slightly dryer sounding Yggdrasil. I really want to find a way to keep both though lol!

    This is one of those cases of just too late or just too early...

    I would've picked this up before Bifrost Multibit without thinking... And I now won't have the cash until January or February again...

    Anyway just rambling due to disappointment haha. Good luck with the sale, I expect this to sell easy and fast, if it hasn't by January (shame on everyone if it hasn't), I'll definitely see if I can get it off your hands!
