Tweeking out powered USB 3.0 extension cables

I have two setups in my bedroom connected to the same PC via 15ft powered USB 3.0 extension cables intercepted with ifi idefender+'s before going to ddc's powered by ifi ipower x's -- I'll do the full chain lists at the end of the post. The cables have ports for optional 5v psu's and have attenuator chips in their female ends.

The cable going to my bedside rig doesn't have the auxillary power connected since I have an ipower x plugged into the port of the idefender +, and I've never had any signal issues (the chip still gets power from the PC and the cable is well-shielded afaik), but in my desk setup, the ddc has a separate power port, so I don't have power plugged into the idefender+, and initially I had an ifi ipower V2 plugged into the cable, but I wound up changing that to a 9v ipower x being split into 2 5v's by an ipowerUSB, so I could have a cable from my second PC run over there and swap them depending on which I'm actually listening with, meaning the cable technically has like ~$400 in ifi 5v power... and I swear it made a strong and positive difference?

All this is still being blocked by the idefender+ as well as a relay in the douk audio u2 pro that disconnects the USB power lines when the aux power port is used -- I probably don't even need the idefender +, so it must just be improving the performance of the signal attenuator chip somehow.

Desk setup:
PC -- 15ft powered USB extender with an ifi ipower x feeding an ipowerUSB giving it aux power --> ifi idefender+ --> 1ft chifi "silver plated ofc" shielded USB cable --> douk audio u2 pro w/krystek dual femtoclock upgrade and an ifi ipower x for its psu --> 6in monster shielded coax cable --> Auralic Vega on its exact clock precision mode and filter setting 1 (default is 4 and measures worse) -- 4ft dimazio xlr --> ECBA with KR Px4's or Schiit Jotunheim 2 -- zmf ofc xlr cable --> zmf verite w/verite pads.

Bedside setup:
PC -- 15ft powered USB extender without any extra power connected --> ifi idefender+ with an ifi ipower x connected to its side power port -- 6in USB cable --> breeze audio DDC with femtosecond clock upgrade -- 3ft coax cable --> burson Conductor's fixed DAC output-- 1ft shielded rca's --> shortest way 51+ with nos Siemens tubes --> Grado rs1x's or fostex th900

Edit:
I have a Cambridge cd player with an ifi iPurifier2 SPDIF powered by its own ifi ipower x going to the second coax port on the Vega, and my PC in this config sounds no worse than that, if not a tiny bit better, so I know none of this is really crapping up the sound -- I have more standardly good points of reference.

 

I plan on getting an ifi isilencer + to place between the PC and the cable in the near future as well, just out of curiosity. My guess would be that it wouldn't do anything, but idk
