I had a quick look and didn't quite seen an equivalent with the Safrotto bags. The F-5XB is a pretty small bag, a dslr with a standard lens on it would basically fill the bag (might be able to squeeze a second lens in if you had a prime on the body).

I think I've found a local shop that sells Safrotto. I'll check them out, but if they don't have it, I think the cost savings will be more trouble than it's worth for me.

Please report back. I'm willing to save $30 if the product is decent outside of nonsense ebay reviews. No Amazon presence for these bags has me skeptical.\
Edit: Bought one, if this is shit I want my money back.

Edit: I shouldn't have posted drunk, I was a bit hostile. Sorry. Will report back when I get my bag

@keanex sorry I didn't get back to you about the Safrotto! I didn't visit/find the shop in the end. Anyway it looks like Safrotto only makes larger bags, which are too big for my m43 setup.

Thanks @lukeap69, but I'm good. Settled on a Ona Bowery instead.

Ona definitely makes some nice bags, a buddy has a couple and he has been very pleased with them.

Thank you both! It was actually a gift, so I'm hoping it lasts me a long time.

I finally have narrowed down my daily walking around bag (when not on an actual shoot). Still more than I really need, but I have a hard time leaving things at home. :D

Domke F-803, holding a Rollieflex and handfull of LTM and M-mount lenses, a couple Fuji XMount, and the Fuji XPro 1 around my neck with an M-mount adapter. Sometimes I take out a few lenses and put in my M4 and a few rolls of film.

Read about the K1. I almost want one.

Some reviewers complain about the lack of new lenses and remain silent about the many good old lenses. Thing is a K5/K3 is not a bad alternative if you have budget limits and this year I can consider a K5 for stills as a viable option. If I had not passed on my Nikon gear I would have picked up a D700 and stopped there right now.

I loved the K-5 while I owned it. The ergonomics are to die for, image quality was stunningly good, handling was adequately responsive in most situations and the build quality is top notch. Given that you can now own it for a pittance, I think its an amazing deal for pretty much anyone who doesn't need something more specialized.

As for the K-1, I'm planning on picking one up in the future, since the resolution from my a7s does leave me wanting a second camera for stills. I think a K-1, the DA* 55mm and DA* 200mm should cover pretty much all my needs, since I'm working in controlled environments most of the time for my job.

I went and checked our various mirrorless cameras this weekend! I have used SLRs a little in the past but now want something suitable for day-to-day carrying around, whether that's in the city or in nature. Beforehand I was pretty set on either the Fuji X-T10 or X-T1 but wanted to also see the Olympus OMDs too.

I was kind of disappointed in the build quality of the Fuji X-T10. The top of the camera felt plasticky and the whole thing seemed light and hollow - which I suppose could be a plus in terms of weight but it did not give me great confidence considering the cost of the thing.

The build quality of the X-T1 seemed so much better and it has a really nice weight to it. I wanted to love this camera right away but man it just didn't feel comfortable in my hands - kind of awkward and unbalanced to hold and without quite enough grip for the weight of the thing and the size of my hands. The other thing that worried me was that although the EVF was big and bright it also seemed a bit grainy, laggy and stuttery. The general operation/responsiveness and autofocus also felt noticeably slower and sluggish compared to the olympus cameras. Perhaps the set-up just needed tweaking or the unit was defective? I'm not sure.

As soon as I put the Olympus OMD-M1 in my hands it just felt so comfortable. It looks a little smaller than the X-T1 in the flesh but has a really lovely pronounced grip that felt steady and secure in my hands. The EVF wasn't quite as large but it did seem cleaner and smoother then the Fuji's. Auto-focus was very quick and there's the IBIS too. On the downside, the Olympus menus felt a bit chaotic (but I'm sure I would get used to them). Plus, when I've looked at images side by side with the X-T1, the Fuji IQ does look nicer, more striking and with noticeably less noise.

If I could put the Fuji sensor and image quality in the Olympus body, that'd be perfect for me!

I know I'll appreciate the best image quality I can afford, which seems to be the Fuji, but am quite drawn to the ergonomics, lens choice and IBIS of the Olympus. Can anyone offer any words of wisdom about how I should prioritise all these factors? Do you think the feel of the thing in the hands should be love at first sight or do you tend to get used to anything? and how significant do you guys feel the difference in image quality is likely to be in real world use?

    Thanks for your help! :)

Olympus knows how to design a functional camera. When they really focus they outdo Pentax...

I'm still happy using my OMD (EPL-7). It's compact and has great lens choices, plus the resultant images can be pretty darn great. Even took some decent fireworks photos last weekend--on a kit lens. Just about anything good that I could say about the EPL-7, I'm sure could be said about the EM-1, and to a greater extent. IBIS is good, optics are good, and the lens choices are quite abundant at affordable prices. IIRC the EM-1 is the cheapest pro-level mirrorless?
But when I see Fuji photos, I do get jealous of the colours. I know it's not accurate (and I tend to edit my photos for accuracy, not for effect), but those trademark Fuji tones are purdy.

@Jeb Did you look at the Sony's at all? I have had my a6000 for over a year now and it has been quite solid. I'll put this warning here that I haven't kept up too much with cameras lately (I know the a6300 is out though), but I believe it still has the same APSC sized sensor that the Fuji does versus the smaller MFT sensors, has a pretty good lens line up (I have the 24z 1.8, 50 1.8, and the stock 16-50pz), and overall my a6000 has been a good little camera to me (replaced a D7000). The other option would be looking into the A7 line from sony, full frame in mirrorless is nice! No idea if you have looked at these at all but might be worth checking out.

Oh and if you are looking at the Oly cameras might not hurt to consider the Panasonic ones either.
