"I'll be your mirror" oh so sweet.
        "Heroin" oh so heavy

Those are the peaks that stick out of the cloudy mass of my memory. Must revisit!

If I did not have to work a bloody mary would be fine too. Although then red wine would be my go to. Existential reason to drink: to express your desire to say "fuck this!"

I don't think it was hype, all the threads were within a couple minutes of each other. I think it was just people wanting to contribute to the site with breaking news. We ought to try to come up with a way to make it more obvious that the mods here have relationships with Massdrop/Schiit and will handle product announcements themselves.

Sounds reasonable. Maybe it would be worth adding something to the New Members thread and/or the subtext of the gear forums (kind of like how the Measurements forum explains who should post measurements where).

Re-checked the RCA connectors. One plug had a mm of play, cut out the right channel. Seriously how did that happen? Tube bliss is back!

Have you confirmed that your channel imbalance is amp-related and not specific-tube-related?

Tested the Siemens E288CC. No issues. A millimetre of play caused the issue. After re-attaching the plugs everything worked fine. Stereo was fine.

They weren't synchronized at all. I'd normally blame the drummer, but Josh Freese isn't exactly an unknown factor. We saw them in late 2003, right around the time Thirteenth Step was released. It could have been that they hadn't played the material live very much. The mix was also off, but that could have easily just been my seats in the arena.

Beethoven's 5th is in the repertoire of most orchestras. If you have one remotely nearby, you should be able to catch it once every few years.

UBNT has cheap access points that have been rock solid. (I have a single UAP AC LR serving a 2 storey brick house) Mine is reaching about 100D of uptime now, although I'll reset it to upgrade the firmware soonish.

This of course only makes sense if wired is rock solid and wireless is flaky.

I've have ubiquity solutions, eero, orbi, etc. The reason I like Google wifi is there's an app and my wife can easily use it. Is she working at home? She can open the app and set her computer to priority so she gets super high quality video conferencing and any DSD or high bitrate PCM I'm streaming to work doesn't affect the quality of her connection.

Internet connection is inconsistent. WiFi through the house is inconsistent. Some moments you cannot watch on-line video in 720i, some moments 1080i online video is fine. More the former than the latter and I am too annoyed.

Even newspaper websites load slowly. That is not good...

Try find a good one or even a matched pair. The supplies of these and similar tubes are limited and the prices indicate that. Not everyone wants to spend this kind of money on a small 9pin tube...

A good Siemens/Telefunken/... E288CCa which comes close is more affordable.
