...that I was already paying. They also refuse to treat you like anything but an idiot the entire time on the phone

We left Comcast because they hiked our bill to $240. And that was 2 years ago... They can f*** right off, lol. Hope you find a much better deal.

Take a look at some of the internet cable services. I was on Sony Playstation Vue (no Playstation required) before I left the states and was overall pretty happy with it. There seem to be tons of options in that regard now.

I am pretty sure Im on a list somewhere at Comcast for the amount of times Ive called and complained. I ditched the cable a while ago, for the second time, I am basically just holding out for ATT fiber to get deployed in my area and then Comcrap is gone forever.

Now you can bask in the freedom of OTA tv, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Google Voice VOIP with Obihai, and fast internet and other services all for a fraction of the Xfinity price.

Fastest customer support you can get from Comcast is by being called by their collections department...

We "cut the cord" after leaving Comcast. We got internet for $40, DirectTVNow App with DVR for $40, Netflix for $14, for a total of $94 a month. Plus we bought a nice outdoor antenna and a Tablo box. The Tablo allows us to DVR and/or watch OTA tv on any device in the house connected to the network. TV's, tablets, phones, laptops.

I only had internet through them, I have never paid for tv. I was paying 50 bucks for 250/15, and another 50 to not have a data cap. They tried to raise it another 20 bucks this year, I told them to f**k right off. 100 was already too much, but I did it cause it was convenient

Now I’ll have to talk to my landlord once I get back to Seattle about getting centurylink to come out and install fiber to the house, which he’ll hopefully let me do, since he’s be able to use that installation to switch away from Comcast too

When I was in central Texas we were so lucky to have a regional provider, Grande Communications, who was way better than the big boys. You sign up for your 1 year introductory deal and when it runs out call them back and they give you whatever the current intro deal is. Customer service reps were amazing, speed and price were better than anybody else.

That’s how it was when I had time warner in Ohio, I just called every year and got it lowered again, this is why I was so flabbergasted at their response last night, at the end I just actually canceled my service, maybe they didn’t think I would? I don’t even know lol
