Yes, stuff like this works. The resolution in color isn’t great, but I use it for reading my monthly PDF subscription of a very similar magazine, and it’s very seldom that illustrations are unreadable in whole page zoom.

 

How's the Hisense Touch for a e-reader, audiobook player and hifi player?

 

I dunno about the Touch, but I do have the Hisense Hi-Reader. It's fine for reading but I wouldn't use that form factor for manga. I guess Audioplayer player should be fine and Hi-Fi player is a good guess as mine.
