I have a discount code for anyone buying a U-Turn turntable. I would use it myself but I'm not buying one now.

I don't see this tech in particular being used for any enthusiast applications any time soon... Maybe CNT's, but not one atom thick graphene.

The audio community doesn't really have to invest as much R&D as it might appear, at least not to make large sheets of graphene. Graphene has a ton of industrial applications and many groups are working to make sheets of the stuff cheaply. When they do that the enthusiast applications will follow.

The heat driver probably doesn't sound good at all is what I meant.

And also, to be not complete shit for other driver types, you would have to roll the graphene into thicker CNT. Otherwise, you get Stax ghosty weightless impactless sound, or HE1000 soft pillow land.

Yeah, I was paid to attend the "T in the Park" festival last year- with backstage access and more importantly, access to the proper catering and toilets that aren't available to the punters. I didn't watch half the acts that I could have done (apparently Calvin Harris smashed it, for example)- the highlight for me was probably the Rodrigo and Gabriela set <3

I was an usher. My most memorable concert was The Rolling Stones. Their current album was Sticky Fingers. They sent us all down to provide a human barrier between the audience and the band. I stood center stage and faced the band. :)

I've had several Blurays fall victim to this rot, making them glitch during playback and make rips fail. I just bought a new harddrive so I can start ripping ISOs in case it continues with the rest of mine.

Not too big. I guess the size of a jar or pickles. It's an outboard controller that you attach to an aquarium or some large tub filled with water so no real limit of size for food.

Yeah, that touch bar seems potentially useful and potentially shitty at the same time. Old(er) processors are fine, though. I fully support Apple's rigorous device qualification standards. What I'm still waiting for is a new Mac Pro though.
