I have an over 70 year love affair with audio since I heard my first mono high fi system at 8 years old at the home of a friend of my Dad while living in Santa Cruz, CA. I already had an interest in electronics and by 12 years old was moding equipment as I began for figure it all out. Home made amps and speakers, salvaging parts from old stuff, such it began a steady stream of audio life. 8 years of collage in physics and anthropology, after school I spent time on the road doing the sound for Jethro Tull and many of the Chrysalis Record groups, created the Quintessence Group in the late 60s, got my first audio patent in 1981, then Chief Engineer for SAE and a bunch of others, designed, researched for Fostex, many amps, preamps, dacs, mixing desks, recording studios, broadcast, digital fiber optics for audio and video, finally years at Monster Cable creating their professional products. division Took a sabbatical from audio to air out, created the Blade Computer and early virtualization resulting in ClearCube, got 34 more patents, retired, created Austin Medical Research Inc, blaa, blaa blaa. Retired again.

A couple of years ago at the prompting of a friend got back into designing audio circuits. I realized after a lot of listening that everything I knew was wrong so I started over again. Came up with remarkable technologies but didn't want a big company, for now just a one-man shop, meeting new friends with common interests, and building stuff that I thought was cool. Again I find myself of the precipice of new and exciting things awhile trying to keep it all fun. We shall see.
