    I have a DIY cable made by cantsleep on head-fi a long time ago that I never really used.

    I am not sure what the specs are but these are what I found written on the cable.
    - termination: Neutrik 4 pin balanced, nc-mxx
    - cable: L-4E5C Canare 1405 Made in Japan.

    I am not sure, I think I used for HD650 for a couple days.
    If you can use HD650 cables for HD800 then yes.
