Loaner: rhythmdevils modded Hifiman HE560v4

For what it’s worth they sound completely flat to me. Beautiful midrange. Lacks ultimate treble refinement and still has a bit of the Hifiman plastic timbre but it’s greatly reduced by the mods. Like 3% of the plastic-y-ness of the Edition XX

I’m going to be loaning out many more orthos soon. HE6seV1 and V2 are coming soon as well as many others. So if you only want to hear one of my modded orthos these wouldn’t be the ones to choose.

But if you’re interested in hearing more orthos in general that are damped properly with good acoustics or are interested in something cheaper these are a great ortho at the 250$ sale price at Adorama plus my modding cost. I’d take the midrange of these over the HD650 any day

The HE560v4 is on sale at Hifiman for 229$ Right now. Hell of a deal once modded Ike this. Beats the stock LCD-2 Classic with its driver flopping all over the place.
