The guy in the video passed away in 2022 and they are currently holding an auction for his stuff. If you are in Virginia you can probably stop by and see it up close

This is all super ORFAS stuff, but there some items that might be accessible like the blu-rays and speakers that weren’t in his main system. The prices they list are wildly optimistic and looks like they just listed the retail value. The speakers are probably going to end up getting donated to a local high school theater for sound reinforcement or stripped for parts (edit: current bid of $1000, so maybe not. Selling the revealator drivers alone though would fetch far more)

Maybe there’s a SBAF member nearby who is willing to facilitate pick up and shipping? Just randomly skimming, there’s stuff with no bids and going for cheap, like most of the CDs.

 

I’m sure there’s some courier shipping services that will do it. It comes at a premium but likely worth it for the higher priced items

 

A local entrepreneur could make some big $$$ on the used audio market by buying and selling that stuff. Buy the smaller stuff (drivers, speaker parts, isolators ) and sell at huge margins.

Wish I was closer, lots of stuff Id bid on.

 

Oh he’s got a lot of JBL drivers there that have no bids. I bet you can build a clone 43xx with what’s available. There’s even a JBL crossover network.

There’s also some unobtanium like the 15” Krell drivers which I have never seen listed anywhere

 

This isn't exactly a deal, but used LCD-4s don't come up too often. Here's one for $2500.

Pretty shit price for a V3. With stock tubes it should be around $2,800 used. I don't think the included tubes are worth the asking price.

 

Because I'm bored I added up all the gear in his sig (minus the stuff he was vague about) and it's easily a quarter a million dollars worth of gear he's got. And that's just headphones. Chase that dragon!
