All the pics are gone. You'd need to remove the pads by pressing against them and turning counter-clockwise.

I took off the pad. There are 3 of 6 open in the inner and 4 of 12 on the outer ring. How does this rank in the grand scheme of things? Have you replaced the bands? Mine are in tact but slouching... I wish you didn't have to unscrew the whole thing to do so..

Mine has an inner ring with 3 of 6 open and 4 of 4 open on the outer ring. I finally replaced the elastics 3 weeks ago and sent it to Tyll.

I think i have the same one. Thoroughl enjoyed it today, except for the band. I may not seem it... Did you make your own bands or get one from akg? It's too bad you have to take off the stickers to get to the screw...

I bought replacements from Harman. It's an easy job; takes about half an hour.
