I miss using Excel for math. We use it far too much as a tracking tool.

Notwithstanding my once Unix-system-manager status, I've been out of it so long that I'm barely computer-literate these days!

But if something takes hours in Excel, could there be a better tool for the job? Or could the data be better optimised?

Just creating multiple graphs, adding elements, copy pasting data into different sheets, and stuff like that, plus being unproductive and distracted because Excel is really boring takes a lot of time.

Still... Best thing ever from Microsoft!

Yeah, it is some great software, very useful, and better than Google sheets. It's just not fun. Though sometimes it can be satisfying to make things work with it.

You are right. It is not fun at all.

Too powerful for its own good. Ever tried to work out what some Excel genius actually did in some sheet that does something that should shouls probably have been done in a real programming language? Aaaargh!
