Now that I have a full time job for the summer, I might finally get a pair of ESP-950's, if I can find one for a reasonable price. Jun 16, 2019 at 2:24 PM

Why do people still use fax? Takes so long to fax these documents while testing these printers

I figure most places use it like a deterrent. Canceling gym membership? Fax in this form. Appealing insurance claim decision? Fax in your evidence.

@Scott Kramer still old school fax, still comment in business. Sometimes you are just not near a computer. Happens often at dealerships and closing for a mortgage.

Many decades ago, a friend of mine worked for xerox. His job was to take stuff apart, figure out how to put it together again... and then write the maintenance manual. :)

It is Ridley's "how do I top Star Wars special effects" the movie based on a book written by fellow with possibly severe mental issues. Then he decided half way into filming that Deckard was replicant and ham fisted it in. I wouldn't try to look into it too much. Sounds like you watched the original cut with no voiceover.

You seem to have watched some sort of bootleg. No voiceover, no unicorn dream, but happy ending? Doesn't match up to any of the 5 official versions. Final Cut is my favorite version. No voiceover, full unicorn dream, all the action/violent scenes, and no happy ending.

Reminds me of the time I spent 45 minutes on the phone with a guy to only realize why his Mojo/Poly wasn't working. The Mojo lit up and had full battery but the Poly battery was dead. Sometimes the simple things allude us.

When I was a student three of us called ourselves a bookshop so we could get our books at trade price. Of course, we sold a few to others as well. Even the college applauded our idea by giving us a couple of small orders.

It says the speakers are supposed to last a lifetime, and the surrounds and plastic grills did not. I don't have the original woofers to prove they failed, but I do have the grills. If they give me anything, ill be happy. I am also missing the wood diffuser panels that go over the woofers, but those will be hard to find.

Right not im using a pioneer single din unit I got for $100, much better than factory, but the Bluetooth stopped working, and it has some issues with randomly skipping songs off my usb stick. android auto would be so nice, and I have space for double din.

There was no assigned reading at all. It was just a terrible teacher. He was bad at teaching what we did go over, and then didn't even cover everything. I just stopped paying attention because it was easier to learn on my own.

As to your last comment: that's exactly what college is supposed to teach you…to learn how to learn on your own. It's essentially "you have all the background you need, now go learn it for yourself".

However, I wouldn't expect such an abrupt cut-off toward that direction for freshmen. Certainly by junior year though.

Not defending this teacher, but in a way he's hurrying you along to where you need to get to.
