I have decided, at least for now, to not spend my money on something stupid, save for a cool car when I find out what I will do in future

Neighbors had a tow truck show up last night at 10 pm. I see the car this morning is dented, muddy, and covered in plants/grass....

Does your school have some sort of incubator for IP that comes out of the research labs? That could be a cool way to get in on some cutting edge stuff. I had a blast working at mine in grad school.

The whole point of structured education is to learn how to learn. Once you have that figured out you can learn whatever you wish. I'll take a motivated self-taught person over a paper trained sheeple every time.

Yeah, seems like from what I have seen, lots of people just memorize things, and don't really understand the how/why. I don't like doing that, I find it much more satisfying to actually know the why on things, makes it more applicable to other situations.

You're a smart guy and if 3.5 comes easy I wouldn't sweat the 4.0 if it means you have more time to do social stuff and personal growth. Most future employers aren't going to care about GPA if you're already at 3.5. Unless that's really important to you. It's great you have goals. That will make a lot of great stuff just sorta happen.

Both, HD580 is just a more neutral headphone from both the driver and the different tuning. I've transplanted the HD650 driver into the HD580 and it did sound more neutral but also wrong, lacked cohesion somehow. Keep in mind there are over 6 different HD580 variants, who knows if you're taking about the same headphone. I've hot three variants and they sound distinctly different but with the HD580 house sound.
