Oh crap, you got a Boox! Nice, best software on an Android E-Ink device in my opinion that has Android 10. I just wish Boox allows MicroSD card for comic book storage, which if they did then they would win this small segment of the market.
Yeah, I'm excited about having a general-purpose e-ink reading device for Kindle, Inoreader, PDFs from Zotero, and notes via Obsidian. Bummer about the storage limits. I got worried that my Obsidian vault might be too yooge, but I checked and it's less than 1GB. Woot.
If you are using cloud storage then it is ok. The only real time the storage will be an issue if you are loading it up with so much comics. For general purpose stuff Boox almost covers all of your bases.
Almost forgot, e-ink displays will have slower refresh rates. Give it time to load up the information on your screen. I believe Boox can also allow you to customize the screen refresh of an app so it can get rid of ghosting. Youtube should be your friend.
I started salivating over their 27" e-ink display. :) But then realized that $1.8k display wouldn't get all that much usage for me. Better would be a tablet with the same (portrait orientation) height as my LCD 27" display that could switch between tablet mode and external display mode, with a quick-mount stand to operate as a vertical sidecar display. That would be suhweet.
