    As long as you're happy with the current slate of tubes that are compatible with the Vali 2+, I think you're good to go. Jason mentioned on HeadFi that Vali 2+ may see a minor tweak to allow it to run some other tubes. My guess is that the alternate tubes might need a greater heater current than the current design can supply.
