You have the Raspberry Pi Digi +, no? Other than that inexpensive, probably not. Even the lynx pci-e boards aren't inexpensive, and rednet.. no. Mutec same. Then I just rolled through the "USB Nervosa" thread and decided to just hang on with the Gungnir Multibit for now. Were you planning any sort of non usb upgrades before your move?

No, the only upgrade I'm planning on is to get the Pi hat Michael Kelly has been working on here once it's available. Then I'll use BNC with a coax adapter with my Modi Multibit. Personally I think the RPi has a lot going for it: Low power/low noise, dedicated to only audio, i2s hats let you avoid USB completely. I see no reason to upgrade to a Rednet and Mutec reclocker, it feels like shooting a fly with an elephant gun.

Ah, saw that thread. I'm just really curious what gains you can get. Just reading some of it looks promising. I want to see what trusted ears say before plunking the cash.

Does the Pi rig w/ the SPDIF HAT need a LPS to shine? I thought I read that an LPS with the Pi rig is, more or less, "icing on the cake," no?

@FlySweep From what I've been reading in the thread, Michael Kelly's hat sounds great even without the LPS.
