Yes, I found a used one from Japan. It's sitting next to me, but I'm taking it to Donald sometime this week (cross fingers) to get it converted to 120v. The Glenn is tiding me over verrrry nicely.
The Glenn is 2x 6AS7, 6SN7 & 5U4G so it's pretty tame by Glenn standards. I've posted some pics over on the other forum to see if anyone can tell me. The previous owner barely knew what tubes it took. Sounds great though - crystal clear with SLAM.
I can really only compare to the BHC (non-SB), my only other OTL. Relative to that, it's crystal clear across the spectrum, and slams much harder. The BHC reminds me more of the Kenzie - a romantic, analog, slightly smoothed-over sound while the Glenn has sharper transients, more dynamic, lots of slam. Still need to do some tube-rolling on the Glenn to hone it in.
