I installed GS chip last Sunday? so I think the DAC is not that warm, and I lose track of my memory.

But I've got the feeling that GS is a tad rounded (trying not to say refined) on treble or dynamic comparing to A1, so it's less sharp to me. But I just can't decide whether it's "less incisive" or "less bright".

Still, just tiny change, but it does help with some headphones (planar ones)

I upgraded my old Analog 1 (no GS firmware) to the Analog 2 boards a little over five years ago, and even I'm considering the GS+. It's a crazy good deal, and I'd love to compare the two now that I have different amps than I did back then.

I ordered MIB a few days after it was announced and it arrived about a week ago. Had the GS2 been around, I would have had to strongly rethink... I might even consider sending the MIB back (its great, but is it almost $1k greater than a GS2?) Not sure...

@dasman66, very curious re: your impressions, especially re: any other Yggdrasil variants you've heard and how MIB sounds with the DSHA-3F and Clear + other headphones. Know you mentioned the SFD-1 DAC recently and some Metrum stuff, but the Yggdrasil gels so well with my speakers that I think I want to stay in Yggdrasil land.

A2/OG works really good in systems with big woofers = low midbass distortion.

@zonto , going to be at least until mid-December until I can get my 3f, OG Clears & SFD out of boxes. We're in the process of moving to a new office and that system is all boxed up until after the week of Dec 4. Only other Yggdrasil I've had ears on was the LIM loaner... and that was awhile ago
