    I like my HE-500 for rap and movies, but it doesn't have the slam of the HE-6 and is less refined. It wouldn't be my main headphone, but I would hang up the HE-500 and just use the JAR600 and HE-6. It's the JAR600 95% of the time though.

    I've seen people asking $2k for them, though not sure if any have actually sold at that price. I should try posting mine up and see if anyone actually bites at that price lol.

    I'd be tempted, but I wonder at the age of the HE-6 out there how long the drivers would last. I know that model seemed to have a finite life on drivers.

    …and nervosa on finding an amp to drive them (without the feeling that you’re leaving a lot behind at the table). Probably better to get a Susvara or a Final (but $$$$).
