I have the perf lambskin on my HD650K and like them. Slight tradeoffs in sound character but comfort and durability are great. From the impressions thread many liked the perf suede with 600s and perf lamb with 650s, but I’ve only tried this pairing.
I got them from Sweden fot €90 i think. They look like they last at least twice as long as stock. Not sure I'd like them on vintage 600s but 2019 it's better than stock though they are modded.
Do it. I have both the lamb and the suede and have settled on the suede - they keep what I love about the 600s, smooth out the treble nicely, and really add to the imaging and staging. They are more comfortable as well.
Took a gamble on some HD600 hybrid pads off Amazon and I prefer them to the HE60 pads at least. My stock pads are ruined, but from memory I'd take them over the stock pads aswell.
Larger stage and still smooth FR, more bass impact.
