    That's why it's important to have an amp with 11 tubes and 400V at the plate on the outputs. Warms the room back up quickly when electricity returns.

    Probably need to invest in a battery backup high dissipation tube amp for safety reasons. Maybe even one per room. It's the most practical solution.

    It’s 12 degrees here and our power went out overnight. I ordered an EcoFlow Delta 2 power station in case it happens again. It won’t power the whole house but it can run a space heater and my CPAP for a while.

    We're looking into generators to run the furnace and a few lights until we figure out if a solar/battery system will work out here.

    A space heater will gobble that power station down to nothing quick. Electric blankets pull much less, more specifically the smaller sized

    This is why I haven’t converted my wood stove in the basement into something else. Seattle is about one day every five years w/o power. CT was 12 days a year and had a generator for it.
