Vocals are a bit recessed on the MJ3 vs the SW51 high-Z out. Finding I prefer the SW51+ presentation at the moment.

Which mesh is on?

The AC comes stock with no mesh installed. It’s definitely not too bright in my opinion, so I don’t see any reason to add any mesh.

Uh what? I was under the impression that the Atrium comes stock with the Atrium mesh, with the option to use the more open Aeolus mesh (the latter of which is my preference)

The Atrium Open comes stock with mesh installed. The Atrium Closed comes stock with no mesh. Only reason to add mesh to the AC is if you want to bring down the treble.

I see that I completely missed the "Closed" part of the post lol. Anyhow, still didn't realize Atrium Closed didn't come with mesh.

I missed it as well, so you know, great audio friends think alike...
