Good info! I've actually found a metal shop that can open the new version of the S12 and is going to help me make them, laser cutting the holes in the enclosure and everything. I think that's an important first step. But I'll check this out! Thank you! <3

@rhythmdevils how resolving are your modded S12s relative to the RD4 or RD5?

@EagleWings With my Zana Deux Super, I think they are about on par resolution wise with my RD-4. The RD-4 pulls ahead with the right amp. But these are resolution monsters with a quiet TOTL tube amp. And the timber is just spot on. I could write a lot of glowing descriptions but I probably shouldn't since they're my creation. But hopefully I can loan you all a pair soon.

Was I living in the US, I would have reached out to you for a loaner pair already. But I’ll see if it is still possible to make it work, without you having to bear any risk.

I’ll be happy to send a pair to the EU or India lets pm about logistics when I have some here ready. <3

I appreciate your interest! I make these not just for myself but to hopefully share and bring the joy they bring me to others. That’s at least half the motivation. So I’ll invest in others hearing my work. :)
