Today I found out that the antonym to "optimal" is NOT "inoptimal" but instead "pessimal". Good luck using that in a conversation. Jul 6, 2021

optimist is pink, and smells faintly of roses. Pessimist is the nasty, yellowish stuff, tinged with industrial pollution.

I haven't seen much optimist for years. Sad.

Take care. If "lovely" equates to great for tea, a volcano would make a great stove. Not a very safe one mind you.

Thankfully the vendor was nice enough to offer a full replacement, just need to swallow about $6 in shipping back and forth to their store, sigh.

Ducky One 2 SF is a pleasure to type on (not that I'm a connoisseur of good keyboards... yet?) but I'm 2 for 2 on QC problems.

The Keychron has been on my list but I'd rather not have to deal with batteries nor need BT, though quality of life things are always nice to have. And yep,, bought into the hype too and while I expected some deck flex the caps flying off was a severe irritant.

Amusingly I'll still be on the laptop for work since I don't have a proper webcam so I'll be suffering still.

Take a multimeter and measure the pot, for each channel you'll have three pins. Not sure about the config but between two of them you'll have the same high value regardless of position 100K maybe.
Then between the first and the other pin it should vary according to volume position, if at min it's not 0 then you have a problem. Compare with other channel. If it's a balanced pot you have 4 channels.
