How is the isolation? I'm kinda looking for a decent-ish and not so expensive headphone with good isolation to protect myself from stupid chats in the office. (LCD-XC is great but too heavy, and maybe too good)

I do not want to add to the hype, but is definitely worth a try. Sounds awesome on my tube amp. Would take any day over any LCD, especially the XC.

The isolation is pretty decent, not the best but better than say a TH900 (from memory).

Hahaha but the isolation of TH*00 sucks! LCD-XC should be the best isolation headphone that I've tried, as it gave both me and my friend the "active noise cancelling like muffling effect". As long as it's better than TH-900.

Dangit- forgot to listen at CanJam. Other people told me the same thing, that the FT1 is great and only $150. This might be a great loaner candidate!
