If it's purchase advice for a product good number of people are familiar with, best to go with the general advice thread.

Yeah, it's a bit of older tech (2001), a little niche as far as direct experience goes. I've read everything I could on it but I'm not able to qualify it against tech advances of recent, as far as if it would be money well spent... It's basically me trying to decide between a good quality older pre-amp vs a dedicated HP amp.

Thanks for chiming in on this though! Will definitely consider dropping this in the general thread. I usually try to dig as much as possible before asking, just can't wrap my head around this so far..
