    I keep thinking of an AK JR. I wish there weren't so many reports of lag. I just want a dap w a smooth UI.

    @imackler Definitely not smooth. iOS/macOS is the only smooth UI for me. The lag/delay is present on Jr even with no song at all but not super crazy, like @zerodeefex said. No perfect gapless playback. However, mine stores less than 30 ALAC songs in internal memory right now. Stock songs are DSD and JR gets warmer & a bit laggier during DSD playback.

    @shotgunshane the facts that iRiver slashed the price to $299 (from iRiver web), launched AK70 and hasn't released new FW for more than a year indicate coming-soon EOL status.
