Foreword: The A3H Pro V2 is (as its name suggests) the update to AAW's A3H Pro. Priced at $380, it is a solid choice for an entry-level custom for those who want a relatively balanced sound with dynamic bass texturing. Just in case, I'll disclaim that I got this unit complimentary from AAW. Not that it matters since this isn't really a full-blown review. Frequency Response Impulse CSD THD Impedance Analysis Channel matching is still within reason for a bespoke product. Pretty good but not excellent. The overall sound signature of the A3Hv2 is slightly boosted bass with laid back and non-fatiguing treble. There is a nice diffuse-field bump followed by subdued treble that works wonders for those sensitive to sibilance. D3 THD numbers are higher than the typical DD response but also lower than the typical BA response. It's no W900 but I can't say I expected the same performance. As expected, the A3H remains stable with impedance changes. A very nice selling point of hybrids in general.
