A while back Amir admitted to have about $75K invested in speakers and amp. Thought anything that measured well sounded the same. He talks the talk, but does not walk the walk. Honest mistake or not, the plea for contributions is another example of why Amir and the minions are disingenuous at best.

 

The strategy seems familiar: replace 'headphones' with 'election'.

I'm a bit late, just saw this, and wasn't going to comment at first. But the more I read, the more upset I got.... I don't even have a word for this type of behavior. Regardless of your own financial situation, just on principle this whole thing reads worse than a joke:
Making a $2k mistake and asking others to pay for it, realizing it was all a mistake was made after donations are collected, and then "here is a loud public apology - but I'm not going to mention refunds and will make you chase me down for the money".

 

Amir is basically a televangelist now.

 

Madrona (aka HomeTechUSA) also just received $180k in PPP money.

 

He’s scamming his own members now. And he has the audacity to tell “trolls” (people who say measurements aren’t everything) have no manners.

 

The ASR minions have stroked Amir's ego to a spectacular over-inflated condition. Only makes sense for him to fleece the flock before many catch on to the game.

Then there are the minions that devolve almost every topic into a contest of who can post the longest self serving post demonstrating superior intelligence. They deserve to be fleeced, if not by Amir they would find another to fawn over.
