    SOLD/TRADED

This is the same walnut dac proto and black diamond proto that was sold by @Ksorota just a few days ago: https://www.superbestaudiofriends.o...ack-diamond-walnut-stack-green-acrylic.12355/

It's in the same condition (see photos), with the same loose back side that requires care when inserting/removing connectors (I recommend using one hand to stabilize the back while plugging/unplugging. Will come with two unshielded basic 19awg power cords that ksorota provided with the setup.

I know I know, it's absurd for me to sell it this quickly after buying it. To be clear, I'm not selling this because it's bad, but the complete opposite: it's so good that I've been listening to it nonstop and it's affecting my health/well-being (stayed up 8 hours until 5am listening to it). This is the same reason why I decided to part with my ECP 3fs + walnut v5 + utopia stack in the first place, the sound was so good that I couldn't pull myself away and stop, to the detriment of my health, other hobbies, and responsibilities.

Ksorota gave me a private deal I just couldn't refuse and I made an impulse purchase with it just to try it. But it's not working for me, and me selling it this quickly is me admitting that audio as a hobby is just not working for me and I should really leave it for good. Will still stick with stuff like airpods pro and mini open-- they're more than good enough for me to enjoy my music/media with complete satisfaction and when I want to I found I can still easily detach to focus on other things when I want to while listening to them.

FWIW I think this has better synergy with the lower impedance 32ohm ETA stuff than the 3fs + walnut v5 did. mini open + this acrylic stack sounded fantastic with quick textured bass and more high-frequency extension. The microdynamics were amazing, and acoustic/electric guitar rock music especially was really engaging.

Anyways, want to pass along the deal ksorota gave me. He asked for $1000 friends/family, with fully-insured shipping included. To put it in perspective: the original black diamond proto sold for $1200 (retailed for $1600), and the walnut dac eventually became the walnut v5 which retailed for $2200. There's only one ECP matching acrylic dac/amp stack and this is it.

I'm asking for $950 friends/family ($983.25 with paypal fees), including fully-insured shipping. Strictly friends only for now, and only looking to sell to people who promise to keep the stack together (i.e. won't sell the dac or the black diamond separately at a later time). I'm hoping to sell to someone who would appreciate it and give it a good home.

Thanks for looking! Happy to answer any questions.

I still want this even though I don't have the headphones for it, and I admit I would not fully appreciate it and this stack would become a shelf queen (I believe that's the term the cool people use now) because life is just so gorram busy these days.

In a twist of fate, @ext1 reached out to me and offered a deal to subtract costs for a JAR800 that was too good to refuse. I keep wanting to leave, but there always seems to be a friend here who keeps just offering insane deals that keep bringing me back lol. I know ext1 (Jupiter) is technically not a friend yet, but to be honest I have no idea why not and I hope you understand this exception. ext is a fan of ECP and I know it'll be in good hands. I only decided to get this because for some reason the andix is just not selling (no idea why tbh) and I've heard it has really great synergy with the hd800 in particular.

At any rate, feel free to close @shotgunshane @jexby, thanks everyone!

p.s. From what ext has told me privately, the JAR800 is looking like it'll be insane and is very close to being released soon... will be happy to share impressions eventually when it arrives if anyone's interested in that
