    Stax SR-007 Mk.2.5 (serial # starts w/ SZ3) headphone is now up on the chopping block. I'll be honest: it was an impulse buy from Audiogon a short while ago because I saw it for a good price ($1150 + $30 shipping). In hindsight, I'm not really in a situation to build a TOTL Stax rig now, so... all things considered, it may be best for me to sell this back after all. With that said, this one has already found a new home!

    This may be a long shot, but I've also got a Sony Vaio X laptop that's... silver in color. It's fully functional. Screen is good, no dead pixel or dark spots. Lid is a bit scratched up, though. Given the condition, I'm gonna let this go for $150 shipped to anyone who'd like to mess around with it. It's best to run Windows 7 on this sucker due to the Intel GMA 500 GPU, but I've tried Linux Mint with fairly good results (except video flickering due to there being no decent GPU driver). I haven't tried other Linux distributions on it due to the insane amount of time it takes to even install one, but hey, again, Windows runs well enough on this. I considered keeping it around, but I've got a Vaio TZ as well, with the exact same screen, just not as thin or light.

    And... here's a Schiit Gungnir Multibit for sale. It's awesome. Nothing wrong with it. I just need to compartmentalize and reduce my setup since I'll be traveling soon, and I realized that most of my gears won't be with me during my travel. Maybe I should just move to custom IEMs? We'll see...

    Asking nothing (cuz it's sold!) for this one.

    Well, I threw the SRS-005 up on eBay since no one here or on Head-fi seems interested.

    Added Gungnir Multibit for sale.

    May add a good deal on a Stax SR-007 Mk.2 soon-ish, so... stay tuned.

    @brencho, I'm downsizing. You'll get to hear why by the end of the month. :)

    @Koth Ganesh, the SRS-005? No, the adapter takes care of that for you. Actually, the amp takes any 12V power supply that can give 4W of power, so it's actually not so hard to get it to work even with a battery... The SR-003 is the main problem here. It doesn't quite fit most people. I'm one of the lucky few who can fit right with it, and it sounds great when it fits.

    I'm still considering keeping the SR-003 as a reference and adding the SR-007 to that setup, then get a battery for a transportable setup now, too... actually.

    Well, if you insist... it's yours then. :)

    The fit is really weird, though, so... you may want to swap the ear tips for it.

    And I'll throw in a transformer thing (110V - 220V or vice versa) that I think will work well with the included power adapter, since I just realized it only works with 110V.

    Hmmmm...wondering if I should let @sorrodje keep his right kidney and buy the Stax myself...stricly humanitarian thought of course :D
