Foreword: The FXA6 is a 1BA 1DD hybrid by Fender, derived from Aurisonic's ASG series (but apparently diverging from their sound). This unit has been graciously loaned by @shotgunshane.

    Analysis
    • V-shaped response. Quite a bit bassier than the FXA7.
    • Channel matching is excellent.
    • Just like the FXA7, the impulse response has long, extended fluctuations. Looks inherent to the design of the IEM itself.
    • Bass is rather wet and heavy compared to the FXA7. It's bordering on overwhelming for me.
    • THD is passable but has these peaks at certain spots in both channels, though never breaking 1%. Wonder where that comes from.
    • Stable with impedance, no surprises.
    • Overall, the FXA6 fits my preferences more than the FXA7 but it's not something that really wows me in the end. It's okay.
